'The Date' with flower bulbs

It's Sunday morning in Atlanta, the sun is shining -again, which is good. It's been a rainy spring. There's something wrong with the keyboard of my computer, the the cursor keeps jumping to other parts of the screen, that shit sucks. It means you have to slow down and watch the screen closer. I kinda look both at the screen and keyboard.

I'm using this new, I-guess-you-would-say website - ZOHO.com I recommend it to all who have had a virus on their computer and had to erase their harddrive. I'm sorry but most people are not going out and buying MS office again, that's dead. Zoho.com has a fresh office suite, plus many many more apps online and free. I've found a couple of dropdowns that will be very helpful with I what I personally am doing.

I've got a bag of bulbs (flower bulbs) Calla, Gladiolus, Canna and some Tulips and I need to get them in the ground, but I want to build this stone inclosure to hold the bulbs. All I have to do now is go to Lowes buy some mortar and sand make mortar, dig a trench, start stacking and leveling heavy stone. Wheel barrel in the dirt from the backyard and then plant the bulbs. It's Sunday.... I don't feel like doing that.

I read last night that Barack took his wife on a date to New York City on the Gulf Stream V Jet, (for short trips) he also brung in the Presidental helicopter and the motercade for his night on the town with his wife. They went to a Grenwich Village spot Blue Hill known for local produce, The Pres and first lady are some hippies, which is kinda cool. Leaving the Greenwich Village spot they headed to a small theater on 44th, the Belasco Theater to see August Wilson's "Joe Turners's, Come and Gone". That's all good ! Half hour flight to NYC in crazy luxury, they probably had a bottle of something for the flight. You get to JFK and take a Helicopter to the West Village, probably right there on the Hudson docks, take a motorcade through West Village to a restaurant right there on Washington Square Park which is always a good look. and then motorcade to the theater. It's a beautiful life !

As usual the Rethugs issued a press release fiening horror that the Obamas would spend taxpayers money on a date when General Motors is about to go bankrupt. Now to me this makes no sense, but that's just me. What should he be doing sitting on his hands, or in his office making calls and having meeting through the weekend about something that's really going to be taken care of by lawyers at this point. Hey, let the billing begin.

If it's Saturday it should be Obama time...

This morning I'm checking my Tea Roses. I planted roses in a extra large pot on my front porch, they seem to like it. It's actually very beautiful, if I say so myself. I did a heavy mix of Miracle Gro slow release fert and fresh soil the plants eat it up.
THe Roses are right outside of my office's french doors.( Just like Obama and the West Wing). So it 's cool, the whole 'green shoots' metaphor, the policy guys use to describe the economy coming back, comes to mind. Obama and his team seem to have something cooking concerning the economy as of late. THe stimulus money is trickling into the economy, and the unemployment numbers are starting to slow 'a bit'.
Right now Obama and his people are testing the will of the American People, they want to see how bad the people really want to come into the future. Healthcare, Energy and Education. THat's the future of America, if we can't fix these problems were doomed as a nation. I'll bet on Obama though, smart fellow, just like Clinton, he'll outsmart the Rethugs as Clinton did and drag America into a new light.

Rush Limbaugh and weeds

I was listening to Rick Sanchez on CNN, he's such a sucker, (always trying to hype the news). So he 's reporting this story about how Rush thinks Sotomayor is a racist and that the Rethugs should just give up on the latinas and hispanics. What !
Elected Rethugs had a fit ! They're thinking... how in the fuc are we suppose to win elections with just a few southern rethugs and Utah.
Rush is like a weed that you can't get rid of, you spray it with round-up, you pull it but it keeps rearing his ugly head.

Plants as Politicians

I've read alot of blogs over recent years, but have never had my own. THere are two things that I know prettywell --- Plants as in Gardening, landscaping and things having to do with plant materials and trees. Also Politics, I like politics, especially Obama Politics, finally a smart Democrat in office that can advance the agenda (I guess that's what you'd call it) of the Progressive folks in this Country. America.

I own a company that does Landscape Design in Atlanta, GA. So from time to time most likely two or three times a day you"ll read either plant information or Politics. what a combination.

Baraka and his Supreme Court nominee Ms. Sotomayor should in my opinion just ignore the Republican bantor and fiene outrage of her choice. I think the republicans are digging theirselves into a deep holes with the hispanic and latin communties around the country. In the very very near future, the hispanics are actually going to be holding all the cards. Or at least most of them. This is why a GA congressnman floated a bill to stop letting illegal aliens have babies that are automatic citizens.

The white guy sees the squeeze coming on and they see themselves becoming more and more marginalized. Their not having that. It's bad enough that Obama is the President but to have Mexicans ( I mean hispanics) decided every election from now on is a problem.
